I graduated from Albion College in 2023 with a B.A. in Biology and a B.A. in History. During my time in undergraduate, I worked in Dr. Abigail Cahill’s lab on researching the ecology of aquatic invertebrates in Michigan’s rare inland salt marshes. In 2022, I participated in an REU at the Kellogg Biological Station as part of the Landis lab, under the mentorship of Dr. Nate Haan. This research composed my undergraduate honors thesis on ecosystem services, specifically natural enemies, and using sentinel prey techniques. This experience solidified my interest to continue pursuing education and learn more about IPM strategies in agricultural systems. Currently, I am a first-year graduate student in the Entomology Department in Dr. Ashley Leach’s lab. Outside of the lab, I enjoy taking care of my many houseplants, spoiling my cats, Mumu and Snooki, and doing anything outdoors.
